Alexis Garcia is an Emmy nominated producer, studio executive, and entrepreneur, widely recognized for his role in launching and scaling high-impact film ventures across the independent and studio landscape. In the last 14 months he founded two new production companies - CAT5, which co-financed and produced A Working Man starring Jason Statham (which opened #1 at the U.S. box office), and Brass Knuckle Films in partnership with acclaimed director Robert Rodriguez.

In 2025, two of Garcia's comedic movies reached audiences in major ways and ignited his love for the genre - Vince Vaughn led Nonnas opened #1 on Netflix and became one of the platform’s top titles of the year, and Friendship (starring Tim Robinson and Paul Rudd) opened as A24's top grossing limited theatrical release and heralded the return of the R rated cinematic comedy. Nonnas was Emmy nominated and Friendship was named in Vulture Magazine’s Top Movies of 2025 (so far) along with two other of his produced titles (A Working Man and She Rides Shotgun starring Taron Egerton).

Prior to that, Garcia served as Head of Film at Fifth Season (formerly Endeavor Content), where he led the production and financing of over 40 films over 5 years, including major releases such as Ambulance (dir. Michael Bay), 80 for Brady (Paramount wide release), The Peanut Butter Falcon (SXSW Audience Award), Monkey Man (dir. Dev Patel), The Long Game (SXSW Grand Jury Winner), Brawl in Cell Block 99 (starring Vince Vaughn), and The Lost Daughter (3 Academy Award nominations).

Garcia began his career as an entertainment attorney before joining Endeavor Talent Agency in 2007, rising to become a partner, packaging and selling hundreds of independent films and eventually helping spin out his division into what became Endeavor Content/Fifth Season. He led the process on behalf of the Film Group for the acquisition by CJ Entertainment of Endeavor Content in 2021 valued at nearly $800m.

A graduate of Vanderbilt University with a JD from UCLA School of Law, Garcia and his family are proud Coconut Grove residents, having moved to his hometown of Miami from Los Angeles in August of 2021.
