Angel Morales

Angel Morales is a Founding Partner of Mako Capital Group, an emerging private equity firm focused on exceptional lower middle-market companies across the Healthcare, Financial Services, and Consumer sectors.

Prior to co-founding Mako, Mr. Morales served as the CEO of his family office, Morales Capital Partners, a firm focused on equity investments in exceptional Latino-founded companies. Mr. Morales spent the first 18 years of his career at Merrill Lynch, serving as the Co-Head of Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s $6 billion Global Private Equity platform, where he led investments and served on the Boards of some of the world’s largest corporations including Hertz in the US and Rexel in France.
