Anyori Hernandez is a prominent leader in the US asset management industry, recognized for his achievements as an institutional investor, strategic advisor, board member, and operating executive. He is known for his innovative thinking, ability to transform strategy into results, and commitment to enabling others to achieve significant success.

Mr. Hernandez serves as President and CEO of the New America Alliance (NAA). He leads the association’s mission to serve as the industry association for diverse-owned funds. With over 80 member firms collectively managing more than $200 billion in assets, he oversees capital access efforts, policy advocacy, research, media and publications, member services, and strategic alliance development.

Prior to joining NAA, Mr. Hernandez was the Director of Emerging Managers for the New York State Common Retirement Fund. Under the direction of State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli and Anastasia Titarchuk, CIO and Deputy Comptroller, managed over $10 billion in commitments to more than 150 emerging firms across all asset classes. The program aimed to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns and support the growth of next-generation talent, with a focus on firms that aspire to strong governance standards and diverse, inclusive practices.

Additionally, Mr. Hernandez helped create several seeding programs, including a real estate fund- of-funds, a private equity fund-of-one, and an absolute return hedge fund seed platform.

He holds a Master’s degree in Real Estate Finance and Investment and a Bachelor of Arts from New York University.
