Ivette Rodriguez is a marketing and communications executive and the founder of AEM, an entertainment boutique consultancy specializing in strategy for distribution, marketing, publicity, and awards. A longtime champion of Latino filmmakers and narratives, Ivette has helped shape the careers of some of today’s most acclaimed directors and actors.
Her career began in music at Arista Records, where she contributed to Whitney Houston’s groundbreaking sophomore album, Whitney, before transitioning to pivotal roles at Columbia TriStar and LIVE Entertainment and eventually founding AEM in 1997.
A longtime advocate for inclusivity, access, and gender parity, Ivette is an active member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, contributing to initiatives such as A2020 and A2025, and together with Rosie Perez, she was the inaugural co-chair of their Latino Affinity Group La Agenda. She is also a member of the Television Academy and sits on the boards of Women In Film, the Latino Film Institute, and A Sense of Home.
Ivette is currently co-producing a feature on the extraordinary life of American labor and civil rights activist Dolores Huerta, co-written by Barbara Martinez Jitner and Gregory Nava, who will also direct.
