Juan Sepúlveda is a Rhodes Scholar. He has been a political and community strategist, working closely the Democratic National Committee to help elect Barack Obama, he was also on the transition team for Biden Haris overseeing the Public Media team.
He was the SVP Station Services and System Leadership at PBS, where he collaborated with more than 160 PBS stations across the country to strengthen their connections to their local communities.
Juan recently served as the Ron Calgaard Distinguished Professor of Practice in Political Science at Trinity University, where he taught urban and presidential politics, state and federal elections and campaigns, urban education, community building and leadership.
As a first-generation college graduate from a working-class Mexican-American neighborhood in Topeka, Kansas, Juan earned a B.A. in Government from Harvard College, an M.A. in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from The Queen’s College, Oxford University, and a J.D. from Stanford Law School, and has been admitted to the Texas Bar.
